For customers calling to enquire about their mobile numbers and these numbers have either expired (subscriber not found) or have been recycled (Incoming call blocked/assigned to a new Subscriber) when number is placed in Minsat and you are not aware of how to handle such calls. We have gathered the tools needed to assist you
The below sms is sent to each prepaid subscriber 2days before their sim expires:* Valued Customer, Ur account credit will expire in 2 days. Please TopUp by xx-xx-xxxx (Day-Month-Year) at 12AM to ensure your service is not affected. 4 info txt 982 to 247
After texting info code 982 to 247 customers will receive the below sms:* You can use Digicel Balance Enquiry to find out your balance, type *120# and press SEND. The system will send you a message to confirm your balance and expiry date. You can also check your balance using the My Digicel App. New customers are required to top up within the first 30 days to ensure that their account remains active. The credit for each Top Up is valid for 120 days from the time the credit is added to your phone. The credit remaining on your phone after 120 days will be automatically deleted and for the next 30 days you will be able to receive calls but will need to top-up in order to make a call. If you do not top up your account before the end of this 30 day period, your account will automatically be terminated which means you will have to purchase a new SIM card and you will be provided with a new number.
For an EXPIRED SIM viewed in Minsat the error seen is
“Subscriber number not found”.
For a RECYCLED SIM viewed in Minsat the Barring Status is seen as
“Incoming Call Blocked”
For all expired SIMS the following must be collected:
1. Expired MSISDN:

3. SIM card available? (customer has SIM at their disposal or do they require a SIM replacement)
4. Alternate contact for customer
5. Name of TL/QAT that approved request: NO LONGER REQUIRED
